Installation & Maintenance Tips

  1. When to replace. Clutch slip, low or spongy pedal height, engagement judder with a burnt smell, or facing worn down to the rivet heads are the four most common signs.
  2. Clean the spline before fitting. Lightly polish the transmission input spline with fine emery paper and apply a thin film of high-temperature grease. A corroded spline will seize the disc hub.
  3. Check orientation. Most discs are marked “Flywheel Side” or carry a printed arrow. Installing backwards damages the damper springs within minutes of first engagement.
  4. Centre the disc. Use a clutch alignment tool (or an old input shaft) to keep the disc hub concentric with the crankshaft. Without this step the gearbox will not slide home.
  5. Replace the cover too. A new disc against a worn cover has a fraction of its expected life. Order as a kit when possible.

General guidance for heavy-duty truck clutch components. Always refer to the vehicle manufacturer’s workshop manual for model-specific torque values, runout limits and break-in procedures.

Product Features

  • Non-asbestos friction facing — consistent friction coefficient across the working temperature range, smooth engagement and reduced judder.
  • Heat-treated spring hub — torsional damping tuned for heavy-duty engines, isolating gearbox from crankshaft torsional vibration.
  • Precision spline — Ø50 mm spline with tight tolerance to OE spec, no backlash after installation.
  • Balanced assembly — dynamic balancing verified on every batch, preventing vibration at operating RPM.

Application

Built for heavy-duty commercial vehicles: long-haul logistics, mining transportation, construction sites and port container shuttle. Matched to Scania truck series at φ430*φ260*24*φ50.

Factory Strength

  • In-house heat treatment line — diaphragm spring hardness controlled in-house for stable clamp load over service life.
  • 100% dynamic balancing — every cover and disc is balanced before packing.
  • Batch fatigue testing — sampled fatigue testing with reports available on request.
  • Export experience — regular shipments to EU, Russia, South America, India and Southeast Asia.
  • Technical drawings on file — drawings provided to confirm fitment before your order ships.

FAQ

Q1. Does this clutch disc fit if my part number is different?

A. Send us your original part number, a photo of the label, or your VIN — our technical team cross-checks it against our catalogue and confirms fitment before you order.

Q2. Why do you buy from us instead of other suppliers?

A. Mark Clutch products are manufactured under strictly guaranteed production processes, with full control over every working procedure. We ensure every finished part is qualified and matches OE part numbers for original truck components. We develop overseas markets with high cost-performance.

Q3. What is your MOQ and lead time?

A. MOQ is 50 pcs. Samples ship in 3–7 days, bulk orders in 15–30 days depending on quantity.

Q4. How is quality verified, and what does the warranty cover?

A. Every unit is dimensionally and visually inspected, and each batch is sampled for fatigue testing; test reports are available on request. Warranty is 1 year or 100000KM, covering manufacturing defects under normal use.

Q5. Can you put our brand and part number on the product and packaging?

A. Yes. Neutral packing as standard and customised branding available on request. We also develop new tooling from your samples or drawings. Contact us about OEM service.

Q6. What else do you supply?

A. Clutch cover assemblies, clutch disc assemblies, flywheels, brake pads and related components for European, Russian and South American truck fleets.
